Maytag MHWE200XW00 washer is shredding clothes
« on: October 28, 2014, 03:22:10 PM »
I have owned the Maytag 2000 Series washer for 3 years now and it has recently started to rip-up and make holes in my clothes.  Is there anything that I can do to fix the problem?  I have a couple theories on what is happening.  My wife found part of the rubber seal/bellow one day and since that day we have noticed our clothes getting holes.  The rubber bellow part that she found was the point part of the inside bellow.  Would this cause our clothes to get holes in them?  My other theory I have is that the drum is not centered or off-balance.  What would cause this and how can I fix this problem if this is the cause to the holes in clothes?
