not dispensing

ge ref model# gss25xsrdss slow/weak dispenser, auger turns fine just bucket dosen't seem to pull ice forward. the metal blade and round housing seems loose on the metal auger shaft not sure if this should be that way can't find another to look at. didn't know if any you guys had this problem before or seen any service pointers on it. any help appreciated

At the front end of the auger is the helix(the round plastic drum) and the helix lock plate. Make sure the lock plate fits tightly into the cutouts on the helix. They get loose and change position preventing the cubes from entering.

thanks for reply will check that, it will be a week prob just doing this for a aunt and she lives out of town. I don't do a ton of ge usually
