Looks as if they do the same thing, the housing is a bit different as original looks like it was altered to make it mount properly, plug is same, basic shape/size is same. Just hoping they work the same. Sears parts dept. said initially that they always recommend parts be replaced with the exact same part, but didn't seem to know anything about tech. Asked directly if it would work, she said "no" but I still don't believe her - seems they just wanted the $70 some for that tiny motor.   :thanks:

Yeah it is aways best to use the right part number.Thats how it is.$70 dollars for a tiny motor in your last post that cheap. There are some fan motor for G.E refrigerators that are whole sale cost me 250 dollars and are just as tiny. You just to a glimpse of are world.Buying a used e-bay fan motor would not be my way to go.You good lose a lot more in food if that fan goes bad while you are not home.lets us know how it goes.

Okay, the person selling the part on ebay cancelled my order due to mismatched part number - said it will NOT work. I found exact one for $20 and it's in and working fine. Thank you all for your help. I now have a issue with a leaking water line into the fridge. Will look for diagram, locate part and start a new post. Thanks again and God Bless.
 :thanks:
