this is fancy smooth top cooktop where you just touch the glass and burners come on. problem is when you try to start right front burner it appears to come on but after 3 seconds it flashes an error code under the glass of-----f153     another problem the "hot surface" light stays on all the time even if the glass is cold .    any ideas ,help appreciated

 jvb67h1bb seems to be a model number for a GE Hood and not a cooktop.

sorry, the model i left was for the downdraft unit. i talked to somebody familiar with the cooktop and got it fixed. sorry about the confusion ,thanks for trying to help.
