WCCB1030F2WC GE commercial coin operated washer

Checked this machine today and it starts to fill as soon as the unit is plugged in. Checked pressure control an water valves. Both seem to operate properly. The machine will continue to fill and overflow tub as long as unit is plugged in. Suspect that R1 and R2 on timer never open causing this problem. Think i just need to replace timer but hate to spend $90.00 and not be right.Is their anything else i could be overlooking. First time i have encountered one of these machines. Any advice or assistance will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help. Also when i looked at parts list their appears to be some  kind of clutch attached to timer assy but hard to make out from parts diagram. What does this clutch do.

Suspect that R1 and R2 on timer never open causing this problem.

This could easily be check with a multimeter.


Did you end up replacing the timer then?
