Kenmore washer, model 110-24632300, fills with water and then nothing...

Washing the 3rd load of clothes, washer filled with water and nothing happened. Power supply is good. I have removed clothes and drained the tub. Now I have no idea where to begin.

Did you check your lid switch?

How would I check it or would I just replace it to see if thats it? By the way thanks for your reply.

See if it clicks examine it for looseness or broken lid strike

Lid strike is good. The switch does seem to be pretty loose and no click.   When I press switch it doesn't have any spring back. It seems logical so I am going to replace the switch. I see the 2 screws from the top...do I have to remove the basket and tub or is it easier to access from the rear?

I just finished replacing the lid switch and a load is now washing. Thank you very much for your help and the video's showing the repair work were exce;;ent.
