Washer keeps filling
« on: September 28, 2012, 10:26:49 PM »
I have a WM2077CW front loader. I replaced the drum bearings as they were bad due to an apparent seal leak.
Now when I try to use the unit it keeps filling until I shut the unit off. I only unplugged the necessary connections for removal and reconnected
them. Everything seems fine during the QC test. The only part I'm not sure is in the proper place is the Ball sensor as I
did not physically remove it and the schematic doesn't help. I don't know if I damaged something while dismantling or assembling.
I don't think I did. I'm not seeing any error codes either.

Is that tubing that goes to the control still attached?

There are two tubes, one top and one bottom and they are connected. I believe I have everything where it belongs.

Are you talking about the bottom one because now I'm wondering if dirt is blocking the hole
after I cleaned the area

Ok that didn't work. I did notice on the Qc test that 10 is supposed to be circulator pump starts but goes to 11 drain.
Should I feel a vacum on those tubes? Is the top one an overflow?

That is the QC test 1 thru 11. It seems to miss 10.
The water level test is 255.

What I don't understand is it didn't do this until after I replaced the bearings which except for unplugging some plugs and plugging them back in
has nothing to do with bearings.

Ok I was talking to my father inlaw and he told me the fill vale was stuck and to try just hot since it was overfilling on tap / cold so I ran the machine through the hot cycle which seemed to still be filling so I sqeezed the hose from the dispensed to the tub and it worked correctly and now it works on all temp cycles.
I think its posessed but it works. I don't know what I did if anything but I'll take it.
