You need to remove the front panel so that you can observe the motor, belt and transmission during spin mode. Use a putty knife inserted into the top groove of the panel in line with the lid opening. Do this on each side to release the top of the panel. Tilt the panel out and pull up to remove it completely. The motor should rotate in the opposite direction during spin mode that it does during agitate mode. During spin mode a spring on the bottom of the transmission just above the pulley activates a cam mechanism that releases the transmission brake allowing the entire transmission to spin which in turn, spins the basket.  You should be able to rotate the motor pulley by hand and see if the transmission brake is releasing allowing the transmission to rotate. You may need to assist by pushing on the transmission while rotating the motor pulley. It should all rotate relatively easy. If the brake seems to be releasing but the transmission will not rotate or is very stiff, there is the possibility that some clothing is caught between the basket and tub.

Thank,  for the information but it's still not spin, basket will rotate one time then just lock in place would this be the clutch or motor not shift.

Thank you.

Did you remove the front panel? Is the motor rotating during spin mode? Does the transmission pulley rotate during spin mode? Did you try rotating by hand as I suggested? This is a direct drive motor on this unit, there is no clutch, the motor does not shift. Trying to help but you don't give any feedback.

The pump is supposed to run continuously during spin mode to pump out the water being spun out of the clothes.

Turning the pulley clockwise (viewed from bottom of pulley) simulates operation during spin mode. The entire transmission housing should rotate during spin mode. The basket is locked to the transmission so that it turns when the transmission does.

What is the transmission doing during normal spin mode?

There are several things that could cause your problem (bad motor, loose belt, broken LGS spring on transmission, bad cam mechanism on transmission, frozen lower bearing on transmission, clothes stuck between basket and tub, worn out basket hub, problem in control panel...). We need to narrow the problem down. I need detailed positive feedback from you.
