Torx select-a-bit screwdriver @ Autozone - $4.99
« on: September 04, 2012, 09:44:16 PM »
Happy Happy Happy  :D :D :D

I was working on my truck  >:(  and I found a cool little tool.  It was one of those swappable bit screwdrivers all in Torx.

For less than a good burrito I got me a simple one grab torx tool.

I need to invent a good nut driver like that!

Hey, thinking of nut drivers, does anyone know where to get extra long ones?  Either bits or handles.  I was working on an American Range, & I had one toughie to reach.

Torx, Torx, Torx,    Yay, Yay, Yay.

I'd give the link, but they don't seem to carry it on their website.

I've been burning through your forum ever since you let me in!  I'm two pages from the end, and I saw a picquick site.

I guess I'm happy 'cause I bought the thing on a whim, and swapping bits and handles with other old tools, my new conglomeration matches the color scheme of my craftsman set.

Torx, torx, torx.  Yay, yay, yay.

next week the crappy chinese chit'll be stripped, but for now

I have a long combo 1/4 inch / 5/16 nutdriver that is also magnetic.    You pull out the tip, its' 5/16th.  Push it in,   1/4 inch.   Works well in hard to reach places.    Got it from Servall about a year or so ago.   Also have a 10 way combo torx driver that has all the common used security torx with hole in them and standard screwdriver bits with a 1/4 and 5/16th bit.    Also from Servall.    These two tools save a lot of room in my toolbox.    Just picked up a new one last week,  has a long, flexible shaft and the end quickly changes from 1/4 to 5/16.   Good for duets or any lower panel where screw went in at an angle and you have to bend bit a bit to grab screw.
