Jenn Air built-in refrigerator with overflowing drain pan

I got a call to service a Jenn Air built in refrigerator with a water leak.  Model No: JS48PPFXDA.  It has a drain pan up on top next to the compressor that was overflowing.  I got as much water out of the pan as I could with a turkey baster.  I happened again in about 2-weeks.  I did not thing the defrost cycle would get that much water.  The pan also has about 3 pads in it to absorb water.  Could they be bad and not working? Any ideas would be great.  Thank you very much, Tom
