Amana Refrigerator Model Number?

I bought a decent Amana refrigerator 12 years ago that has a ice bin/auger part and the auger is fine. What's not fine is along the left lip that slides into a groove in the freezer, the lip is now cracked about 1/3 of the length from the back towards the middle. Each movement is making it worse.


I need to know what part number to order to replace it assuming it's available but I cannot find a model number anywhere.

Look inside the fresh food side. It may be on the ceiling or one side or the other.

Inside fresh food section right upper wall, or ceiling. Also make sure to get the manuf. number, usually starts with a "P". Sometimes makes a difference on the parts.

The big catch is it's one part of many so I'll need to disassemble the entire collection of 39 parts (auger, etc) and then reassemble them to the main part. That should be "fun".

At least I have an option.

The part I'm disappointed about is the Facade for the Ice Dispenser on the outside door. It's yellowing now and I was hoping to get a new one to give it a brand-new look. It's unavailable.

It's not that hard to change the bin. You will not need to take the cutter blades apart.
