Video of Maytag Neptune Washer making a "chirping" sound

I have a Maytag Neptune washing machine that recently started making a chirping sound throughout the cycle.

One thing it needs is a belt, but I think you will be looking at new bearings in the future.My Neptune started out with little clicking noise that eventually turned into a full blown roar.

Thanks Bailey, I appreciate the tip. A few questions:
1) Is it the belt that is making the noise or are you sensing something else from the video?
2) Is there only 1 belt or is this one of a few belts in the machine (and if so, which one?)
3) How long do you think I have until the bearing become a problem?

My wife and I are discussing whether to fix or buy a new one. The more I know, the easier that decisions is so all info is appreciated. cheers!

When the machine is washing and reversing direction you can hear the belt slipping.This is very common on these machines. There is no adjustment to increase tension.The belts are very tight when new and stretch over  time. Its hard to say how long before the bearings get really loud but you can still use it. We used ours for a long time even  after it got really loud. If it were mine I would replace the belt and keep using it and when you can't stand the noise anymore, replace it.

make sure you change the motor isolators that come in the bag with the belt. that should stop the noise.
