Evaporator Fan Motor Model#LRSC26922TT

Hi I need to replace the evaporator fan motor on an LG sided by side refrigerator, model# LRSC26922TT, but I cannot figure out how to remove the fan housing and the rear wall of the freezer. I see the arrows pointing to where I am to insert a screw driver to release locking tabs but it does not seem to loosen either the housing or the wall. I just seem to be punching holes in the insulation.

Is there a trick to this that I am missing, or does some one have a link to the manual or a video showing how to remove these?

I don't have any experience with LG refrigerator, sorry.
I see very little LG appliance around here and what I do see are front load washer and dryers.

Maybe another tech will have some words of advice...

Don't try to "unlock" those tabs, they're just guides for installation. 

You have to grab the bottom cover using a pair of bent needle nose pliers and pull out from the bottom vents to remove the evaporator cover.  Keep pulling till the cover unsnaps from the wall liner.  Then grab the upper evaporator fan cover and pull out as well.  It sounds like it's going to break but that's the way the come off.  It's possible that the evaporator is full of ice and you will need to unplug the refrigerator for a 8 hour period to melt the ice.

Thank you for the advice, the curved needle nose woorked great. Removing the icemaker is a total pain!
