LG Refrigerator LFX25975ST

Hello All,

I was looking for a service manual for my lfx25975st french door refrigerator but cant seen to find one on the site.

I need to replace the ice dispenser lever button (the little flap you press to get ice). I was able to get the old one out because the left side (hinge bar?) broke off, but I don't know if I can put a new one in with out further disassembly. I believe the part number is AP5016769 from the way it looks on the Appliance parts website.

The questions is; do I need to remove the "cover assembly" to reinstall the new "dispenser lever button" ? The attached picture shows # 1 dispenser lever button (part to be replaced) and # 2 the cover assembly.

Thanks for the link. But I was looking for a free manual. I know $4.95 is not a lot for a manual, but I don't even know if it would have the detail I was looking for.

True, but it still takes me time to look up the service manual for you along with it taking up space on our server and monthly bandwidth.
Time, space and bandwidth may not seem like much for one manual, but when it's done day after day over and over, month after month for free it adds up.  

We still have hundreds of service manuals online that can be downloaded for free. Our free service manuals are downloaded hundreds of times a day. That adds up to thousands of service manual downloads a month our server provides free of charge.

The few service manuals we have for sale in our Service Manual Store help pay the monthly bill on our server.

With that being said I remember that awesome review you did on your LG washer and dryer, so you get a free copy.

Service manual sent via PM. Wish I could be of more help but I don't have any experience with this LG model.

Let us know if the service manual helps or not. Maybe another tech can jump in with some advice.
