Bosch Dishwasher Does Not Drain

I replaced the drain pump on my SHE4AM15UC/01 Bosch dishwasher because it would not drain. The drain pump motor would run for a second or two, then stop. It would do this two or three times, and then switch to "clean" status on the control panel. I could also hear the water gurgle in the drain hose.

It still does the same thing. Any ideas? It seems that if the sump will not drain, the dishwasher cancels its cycle. Any ideas why the motor cuts out, even a new one?

in cancel/drain, it's normal for the drain pump to pulse 3 times & then complete the drain. I suspect you have a clog in the drain line. Possibly at the inlet assy or elseware in the drain(follow the drain from the pump back to the house plumbing checking for clogs)
