Maytag Dryer Still Not working properly after new belt

I replaced the belt on my Maytag Performa model PYG2200AWW thinking that was the problem but it did not fix it.  What happens is the dryer initially makes a noise and sounds like it is trying to start but does not (intermittent with or without clothes).  When I spin by hand the dryer, close and turn on it will start spinning.  Any ideas?

I looked up your model number and it uses motor part # W10410996

You might can oil the motor and get a little more out of it. Does the drum turn easily by hand?

Thanks guys for your help.  The drum turns by hand, not sure what to compare it to as far as how easy but you can push it pretty easily.  Bummer that it needs a new motor, not sure if it is worth the money since there is a little rust developing down by the bottom.
