Whirlpool Duet Dryer Leaking Gas?

Whirlpool GGW9200LW1 Duet nat. gas dryer.
Had it in our garage didn't notice a gas smell,then we moved and it sat in storage for 2 months then I hooked it up inside our new home. After about 45 min. I could smell gas.I took off the front and back panels and soap tested from the shut off valve to the valve assembly and no leak but can smell gas from the valve assembly side. Maybe it was leaking before but because it was in a large open area I didn't notice it or could something have gotten into the valve assembly when it sat or was in transit. I don't hear it leaking when I get around the valve. What should I replace, the valve assembly or the spring assembly or could it have something to do with the coils? Please Help!

Take off the burner and soap the orifice.  If it's leaking from the orifice, you need a new gas valve.

when it was put into storage,
did you re-install that nice little "rubber cap" on the Gas Line stub ?
It keeps out moisture that will rust the insides of the Gas Valve..
