How to replace the water filter housing?

How hard is it to replace the water filter housing on a Whirlpool refrigerator model number GD5SHAXKB00?
Can you provide instructions?

Why would you need to replace, if leaking, usually the seal on filter.

Two screws at front hold to frame. Two quick release hose connections. Very simple.  2186443

I removed the old filter to replace it and I can't get the new filter in. From reading online I have to replace the filter housing.

I doubt there's anything wrong with the housing. I have had to go out many times to put a filter in this unit only because the customer did not know how. put it in and turn. Directions on box.

This refrigerator is not new, I have replaced the filter many times before with no trouble.
