Whirlpool Duet GHW9400PL0 can not get hose to connect without leaking
(1/1)
dth:
Appreciate in advance your help. Something was left in laundry ( I guess ) that caused pump to fail. I purchased pump and it seemed easy enough to install. However I can not get the hose to connect without leaking (bad). I have now tried replacing the original clamp with worm drive type...but neither works.
What am I doing wrong?
AJ:
Try putting the hose and clamp on before mounting the pump to the bottom of the washer.
This will give you a little more wiggle room to work with and let you see a bit better what your doing when your trying to get the hose and clamp in place.

I've seen it all, your hose could be leaking in and or around the area of your clamp.

I think you are the only one who can figure this one out. Get a good flashlight and a mirror. While its leaking see where the water is coming from.Make sure the hose is on all the way and the clamp is properly positioned. Sometimes you just have to get back to the basics.
