Discontinued Spark Module

Manufacturer's Number: WB57K5154 is a spark module for my GE cooktop that is no longer available. I wonder if a lot of modules have same specs for input and output voltages and are just different physically. If someone would confirm it for me I would use one that has same amount of terminals. A spark module doesn't know what brand you are putting it on. Thanks for any help.

WB57K5154 is the part number for the replacement top glass for a cooktop when I look it up.

What is the model number of the cooktop?

Not that I know of. Maybe someone else can post some additional information about that for us.

I'm wondering though, why not just order the correct part from sears and be done with it?

I just did order the part. When I first looked at it... under the Add To Cart button it said No Longer Available. I didn't realize that was referring to the original number and not the replacement number. Thanks again.

I remember running into this before and I replaced one with a 12001596 spark module and it worked fine.

Thanks for the info... after I ordered the one from Sears for $42, I found that number would work and found it for $17. I finally figured out and got confirmed that 4+0 means 4 top burners and "0" oven ignitors and that any module like that will work.
