Both fans have stopped working on my window unit. You can hear them trying to run but they don't turn. When I reach my hand inside to turn evaporator fan, you can barley turn it. Please help,

Is it something I can replace myself?

You would have to remove it from the window. Take it outside Take it completely apart without breaking a freon line. It would be a chore.

If the fan motor is hard to turn with the power off,replace the fan motor as suggested.

If it test bad replace it and try your motor.
