dishwasher does not drain

Sears 665.16022400 Dishwasher.
Sounds like it's running and working except water is left in the bottom at the end of the cycle.

Where does the drain hose attach under the sink?

To the side of the food disposal, why?

I've been running into a lot of drain hoses that are blocked by grease. When the drain hose leaves the disposal and goes downhill, grease that is poured down the sink also goes down the drain hose where it solidifies. I have a four foot piece of 1/4 inch plastic tubing that I push down the drain hose to see if something stops it.

That is exactly what we found wrong. The drain hose was blocked by grease.
We cleaned it out and got it working this last weekend and I forgot to post a update.
