Kenmore Refrigerator Defrost

Does anyone know how to manually put a Kenmore Elite Refrigerator into Defrost Manually? Model # 596.75529400

This is a Sears Amana/Maytag refrigerator that has the Jazz control board.

Let us know what you find wrong with it or if you have any more questions.

Use the tech sheet that AJ gave you. You can put this box into a diagnostic mode. Most likely everything will test as good. If your having a defrost issue I would replace the control board and both thermistors. I work on a lot of these and if you do it right the first time you won't have a problem.

Yes it was the control board and I did replace both thermistors to be safe.... Thanks for the help AJ and haroldsappliance!!!!!
