Kitchen Aid dishwasher with flashing child lock light

I have a Kitchen Aid dishwasher Model No: KUDR24SEWH5 & Serial No: FH4303356 that I bought at a garage sale some years back.  I can't start a cycle & the child lock light is flashing.  I downloaded the use & care owners manual but it does not say anything about this.  I took off the bottom panel and found out the tech sheet is missing, (great) I found a tech sheet for a KUDR25 model that says I must have a stuck/shorted program button and this flashing light is a error code.  Could this be the case on my model?  Do you know where I can get the tech sheet and should I replace the program switch panel or could it be the electronic control board?  Any help with this would be great.  Thank You!

I have attached a copy of the tech sheet for your model.

Could you attach a copy of the use and care guide you have?

From memory you have to press and hold one or two buttons for a second or two until the child lock light goes out.
The buttons you have to press and hold to unlock it should have a little lock icon under them.

Could you post a photo of the dishwasher buttons?

To turn Child Lock ON:
Press Energy Saver Dry for 5 seconds.
The Child Lock light will glow for 30 seconds.
All other lights will be off.
The Child Lock light will turn back on for 30 seconds if any pad is pressed during this time.

To turn Child Lock OFF:
Press Energy Saver Dry again for 5 seconds.
The Child Lock light will turn off.

Thanks for the tech sheet.  It says I have a stuck or shorted key pad.  I will try to free it or replace the 9743242 switch panel.  I sent you the pix of the  control panel ( you will see it does not say anything about how to lock the panel but the use and care guide says to press & hold the energy saver dry button. ) I'll also send you the use & care manual.  Thanks again!

I tried to send you the use & care guide you asked for but the file is 4,489 kb.  Your website only allows me to send 2,000 kb.  The part number for the guide is 9743111.  If I could figure out how to only send the english part (pages 1 - 33) I would gladly do it.

Thanks for all your help.  I was able to unstick the keypad by removing the switch and working all the buttons.  We'll see how long it lasts.  At least I know if it happens again what I need to do.
