more washer trouble after replacing coupler

What a great site, you guys are awesome!
I have used this sit in the past to help repair my dishwasher, but I'm having some trouble with my washing machine now.

My washing machine (LSQ7533JQ1) stopped turning yesterday, but being that it drained, I knew the motor worked. I found the coupler was bad, changed it, put everything back together and the motor just hummed at first until I gave it a jump start by turning it by hand. It will swash back and forth, but won't spin/drain water. No matter where I place it (spin/rinse/wash) I am not sure why it would drain before, yet not now, any help? Thanks.

make sure your pump is turning and that your coupler is in place correctly.

If ya got that coupler too close to the tranny or motor it might be binding. That is what happened the first time I installed a coupler.

Pull off the wiring connector on the motor and make sure all of the tabs on the motor switch are straight and properly spaced. I have had this problem
in the past and am more careful now during reinstallation of the motor.

     Another possibility - Transmission is locking up or binding.    That could explain the broken coupling.   What I do is install the plastic coupling on tranny,  and turn it by hand.    You should be able to get it to agitate and spin by turning it.   If it is very hard to turn, that could be your bad boy. 
     Or.........Another thing to do.  Try removing motor,  jumper lid switch and see if motor runs when not hooked up to tranny.    I plug it in and step on motor so it doesn't move around.    If it runs fine,  problem is transmission.
