Hi,
I need to plug the hole in my freezer that is there for an ice maker. Who ever had the fridge before me had had an ice maker installed, but they must have thrown out the little piece of foam(?) that goes in the hole.
As it is now, I have the little plastic cap that is inserted into the hole from the inside of the freezer, but nothing else.
The fridge has been running this way for quite a while. But from the outside of the freezer, one can see that ice has built up in the hole. I have what seems to be above average moisture in the freezer (ice crystals form on food rather quickly), and the unit seems to run more often than it should. I'm assuming that because this hole isn't sealed off properly, that this is what the problem is.
I'm not sure what part it is I need.
Thanks for reading this.
