not sure on these guys but it seems evryone of these i work on has lid locked may be a feature in control or may be just where it stopped. point being i check the drive system on all of these i find locked, splutch problem or drive pulley or belt can cause symptoms that may appear to be a lock problem. (seen alot of these with loose nuts on drive pulley droping down grinding belt on shroud) lean it over it's light how hard can it be to work on a toy
