All just wanted to tell every one my experence on my hydro Wave GE wASHER year 1/13/2009 .I replaced the shifter coil shaft l and it became open .I then replaced the motor the one that blinks red later model and another shifer coil shaft.I did some reserch and found my moter did not have a glich by manfacture date.It may be to your advantage to replace both the motor and shifer coil shaft at the same time otherwise you migt ruin a new  shifercoil shaft resister and make the shifer coil inoperative.My model has no cluch If you contact GE customer service before starting repair yourself they may offer a goodwill adjustment as in my case but I allredy was to far along with repair parts may cost more than A NEW WASHER
