Ice maker not working?

My ice maker makes ice, but the ice sits on top of the ice maker instead of passing into bin. This stops the ice maker from producing any more ice. Once I remove the ice from the top, the ice maker resumes making ice. I probably have to knock the ice off the top daily, although sometimes the ice makes it into the ice bin without assistance.

The other issue is about once a week, it seems the water is overflowing into the ice maker, sending water throughout the freezer, including into the ice bin. Water then drips out the bottom of the freezer door and out of the ice bin.

It was suggested to me that I replace the pc board kit, part # 4389102. Will this part fix my problems?

I do not believe the control will take care of problem,  sound like the smart valve part # W10159839.

Your emitter/receiver boards are fine or else the icemaker wouldn't be getting any power.  I would install this kit, 8201515.  It replaces the motor module, ejector and ice stripper.
