GE side by side

I have a GE side by side frig, and it isn't cooling well.  The condenser fan isn't working but it seems like the compressor is working.  There is some cooling.  I thought it might be the PC Board or the fan, is there a way to know if it is the fan or the board or both, or some other problem.  The model number is GSL25JFPHBS.

Your model refrigerator uses condenser fan motor part # WR60X10220

It has a quick disconnect plug on it where you could check for voltage.
If you have voltage to the fan motor and the motor does not run the motor is bad and needs to be replaced.

If you don't have voltage going to the motor then I would suspect the control board is bad.
You could remove the board and inspect it for burnt spots or bad solder joints.

Thanks for reply.  Is it suppose to read 120 volts to motor.  I noticed the control board puts out 12 volts DC.  I was looking at the motor picture and on the side it has 115 volts, so I am a  little confused as to whether it should read 12 volts DC or 115. Does it matter which wires to check for voltage.

I would replace both, cond. Motor & control board.  Its a 12 volt dc motor.

I wonder why if the motor is rated 115 volts why it is a 12 volt DC motor.  Anyhow, does anyone have a service manual for this frig for download.  Thanks for help.  Not sure exactly what to look for on this frig, I'll take another look.  I have a Digital volt meter so I'll check the condenser motor, on DC scale.  I am assuming it is a DC voltage to condenser motor.

This is a regular line voltage motor. It's not 12 volts. Some ge ref's with the mother board do, but not this one. Check for proper voltage at the condenser motor. If you have what you need, then you either have an open winding in the motor or a stuck motor. Replace motor.
