Lg washer model# wm2277hs

Lg washer model# wm2277hs. Dispenser drawer will not open. I'm thinging that something may have warped on the drawer. Have tried drilling 1/8 inch hole in several places and then pushing a piece of wire coat hanger to maybe push down on the obstruction to no avail. This may be a dispenser where the top cover may pop off, but it has screws behind the drawer handle. May have to drill a couple holes on drawer to access them. Dispenser is p# 4925er1015b. Dispenser drawer is p# 3721er1187h. Has anyone encountered this problem?

Wow, sounds like a tuffy, worked on alot of lg,  never heard of this., let is know what caused this. Hot water to hot?

Remove the top panel to access the dispenser assembly.  The dispenser has clips on the sides that will allow you to unsnap the top cover slightly to remove the drawer out.  What has happened is the top cover has warped slightly downward jamming the drawer.  You can use a sharp knife and slice off pieces of the center part of the cover and test to see if the drawer will move freely.  Otherwise, you can order a replacement dispenser assembly.

I pulled the decorative cover off front of drawer and drilled 2 holes where the screw heads were. Removed screws. That give me enough rome to pull cover off of dispenser. Sanded ridges off under side of cap. Problem solved. Thanks guys.
