runs then stops and clean light blinks

I have a Whirlpool dishwasher that I start it will run for a while then stops and the clean light blinks is it a bad control board or touch pad or motor. It is a whirlpool model number is DU1100XTPQ3 thanks for your help.

Unplug unit for a couple minutes. If your still having a problem remove touch ribbon that plugs into control board. This ribbon is a flat set of wires in a flat plastic with a black connector that comes off the touch pad and goes to control board. Leave it off for a minute or so then reinstall. I used this procedure recently with no call back.

The clean light blinking indicates a problem in the heating circuit.  Components of the circuit are the heater, limit thermostat, control board and door switch.  I usually find a bad heater.  If it's intermittent, it's usually the door not shutting right and closing both switches.
