whirlpool dryer heating but not tumbling/runiing

my whirlpool dryer model wed5700sw0 heats up but drum will not turn.  When I turn it on I can see and feel the heating element work but drum not tumbling.  Any ideas?

Sounds like the belt has broke and needs to be replaced.
Your model dryer uses belt part # 341241

Sounds like a shorted wire or heating element. Look for fat red wires that have overheated or partially melted against each other. Seen it.
