WM2301HR Front Loading LG Washer NO POWER

This unit is just under 2 years old. It turned off and will not turn on. My husband can get the control panel and lights to activate by manually spinning the drum. We have checked the cord, plug in, and breaker. Any ideas?

Yes, try removing the top and look for it.

When spinning the drum to activate the board, will the washer buttons activate normally and allow you to use the washer?

What if that is the case, what's that indicate?

Pretty sure that the control board is bad from the internal fuse.  Spinning up the drum does cause the LED lights to illuminate but I was just wondering if the controls would work when the LED's lit up.

I had known about being able to spin the drum by hand and have the LED's light up, but I had never tried operating controls like that, so I was just wondering.

If the door needs to be shut for operation how could you spin it, reach behind and yank on the drive pulley?
Husband to wife:  Dear press start while you yank on this here pulley...

The selection controls will still work even if the door is open.  Just the start button won't.

Did u ever figure out what was wrong? Our washer is doing same thing now and we replaced the pcb, didn't help.
