110.20722991 kenmore washer

when the washer goes into rinse it will momemtarly shoot the water in but it wont spin while its shooting the water in its like the transmission is not ingageing but when i manualy move the timer the transmission kiks in the funny part about it the timer goes all the way to the end of cycle to the off position. its when it shoots the water in to rinse the trany wont spin,all the way to end of cycle could it be the speed swith or water level switch?

I would check the lid switch 1st, make sure its making sure its closed circuit.

Loose hinge will cause these symptoms also

Jw is right, tighten all 4, 2 screws on each hinge. Alot of times that will work.

ive done the recomended in the past but on this one ive by passed the lid switch with a make shift one that i use out there in the field with the by pass i dont need the cabnet on so the cabnet is completly off this by pass is a bleesing in the field i made it out of another same lid switch but any way i still have this problem ???

Timer should neutral drain 1st. Then should pause,  then kick into spin., if timer does not pause, you will need to replace timer. If spinning before pause,  then stops after pause, transmission is bad.
