We recently had a very severe storm on the east coast and my GE gas dryer, model#
DCVH515GF1WW, now displays an E61 error code. According to the tech guide, the code indicates a polarity issue at the main control board. Prior to the E61, the dryer was cutting off before the cycle was done and experiencing intermittent heating issues.
The tech manual does not indicate if there is a way to erase all error codes and start fresh by putting the dryer into a diagnostic test. Is there a way to clear all error codes and still see if the E61 is coming up?
Thanks,
Steve
