Lg dishwasher leaking from blower assembly

I have my lg dishwasher apart and I found the leak. There is a slow drip coming out of where the blower attaches to the blower vent. Meaning that when I take the vent off there is a slow drip right in the middle of the cycle. This is not during the drying time.
Is the fan suppose to run during the regular cycle or just drying?

Not sure if the condensation form the hot water is causing it to build up and leak or what?

Any ideas of what I can try first?

The vent is supposed to be closed and no water leaking into the vent during the wash cycle.  It will open when it's in the drying cycle.  The vent is not closing properly and allowing water to leak into the vent during the wash cycle.  Replace the vent fan assembly.
