LG Dryer Removing Blower Wheel Cover

I have an LG dryer, model# DLEX2801, where I am trying to test the thermostat located on the blower housing. In order to access the back of the blower housing, where it is mounted, I believe I have to remove the front of the dryer which means I have to remove the blower housing cover. Unfortunately the housing cover does not seem to want to come off.  There are 2 screws at the top of the cover which I removed but when I pull down on the cover it feels like there is a hidden screw holding the top middle. is there such a screw or some type of other clip holding the cover on, besides the 2 screws? Shouldn't the cover simply pull down and out?

Remove the 2 screws holding the cover.

Remove the filter screen.

Now grab the bottom of the cover and pull out and down and it should come out.  However, to test the thermostat on the blower housing, you have to remove the drum to access it.
