You have to separate the tub halves, unless you want to drill an access hole in the top of the tub.

sorry forgot that earlier, GFWN1100L1ww two of the baffles are a little loose an there feels like a nut or something is flopping around behind one of the baffles.makes a terrible noise when it was going through its cycle.
