Here is a new one to me. The bake element burned right through the oven cavity and made a big hole. Part of the element was welded to the metal and I couldn't get it out. Customer decided it was time to get a new oven.

Been doing this job for many years ,I too have never seen that happen.

Twice in 33 years, 1 GE and 1 Frigidare.

Seen some element blow, but never burn a hole in the cavity like that.
