Model LAT9306AAE Washer wont spin or agitate...

  I downloaded the manual for this machine a few years ago and have made a few quick repairs to this machine, with the help and info on this site it has been trouble free since.   It stopped agitating and spinning the other day. It fills fine and with the correct water, when the water shuts off the timer just ticks away, no agitation or spinning.

From the manual

-I checked the fuse.
-Both door switches have continuity and operate when door opens and closes.
-The water level switch checks out per manual.
-I made a motor test cord and it functions both forward and reverse.

 So this leaves me with  the timer switch.  I have the schematic but I'm not sure how check the switch correctly.  I'd hate to buy the timer switch and have it be something simple that was over looked or not in the manual. 

Any input, ideas or information on how to properly check the timer switch would be greatly appreciated.

It does sound like the switch assembly as that is the most common failure. Odd the fuse isn't blown,but I have seen a few where the fuse is blown but a 9 volt meter will say it is good and 110 volt it will open. I would carefully check voltage on both sides of the fuse when powered up.

 Thanks TOSG, I checked both sides when I checked the fuse, I've had them play that trick on me before, a guy can really beat his head against the wall on something like that.

I've looked over the schematic and see there is an overload protector in the wiring, circled in red on the pic, I don't see it in line, is it maybe something in or on the motor.  The motor worked fine with the motor test cord.

do you see that dotted line ?
everything inside is part of the Motor
If the Timer is ticking, then the Lid Switch is OK
if the Motor is OK,
then that only leaves bad contacts in the Timer
(or the wiring is bad)

If it fills the fuse is fine. If it don't do nothing afterwards the 207166 check switch is most likely bad. Remove it and see if the button is springy or stuck.
