maytag model MED5740TQ0 Heater is always on

Hey Techs here's a good one. Fairly new Maytag (Whirlpool) rear blower style dryer that heats anytime it is running. Doesn't matter if the heat selector is on heat or no heat settings it still heats. Wiring diag is fadded and unreadable. I inspected the element to ensure it wasn't shorted to ground. Suspect electronic control or heat selector switch but I'm not too well versed in dryers.

Heater element is shorted to frame. Remove the rear dust cover. Take the wires off the element. Check for short between terminals and frame.
