Maytag MGS5770ADB slide-in gas range spark module

I have a Maytag MGS5770ADB slide-in gas range where none of the igniters on the range top are working, there is no spark.

Most likely I have to replace the spark module.  I downloaded the Maytag service manual for my range and it states the spark module is in the bottom right of the range.

But, since my range is a slide-in, the spark module is not in that location (there is no side panel).  I looked at the mechanical drawings for my range and it is unclear where the spark module is located.

 - Where is the spark module located on this range?
 - Is this a repair that a handy person can do?

Did you look anyway? Maybe it's still located there, but you just don't have to remove the side panel.

I'm not that familiar with this model, but I see no reason why not.

I pulled out the bottom drawer before I posted my question and did not see the spark igniter anywhere, so I am pretty sure it is not located on the bottom right as stated in the manual.  Pulling out the slide-in stove is a pain since it actually rests on the counter top.  I would like to find out where the igniter is before I try pulling out the stove.

Any other ideas?  Thanks

It's most likely under the top. To remove the burner heads, you turn the burner heads 1/2 to 1 inch counter clockwise and it will unlock. There will be small Phillips head screws holding the top down under the burner heads. Remove those and top will lift up. You should see it in the right rear area.

I saw in the manual that there was a burner wrench to remove the burners, but when I searched for the wrench, it is no longer available.  Without the wrench, how can the burners be removed without breaking the igniter?

I did get a temporary reprieve, the spark module started working again.  This has been happening for the past month.

I use one of those strap wrench's (as seen on TV) on some and it worked fine. (have the correct wrench but couldn't find it at the time) Or use a cheap oil filter wrench and put rubber around the burner for protection. (that's what the manufacturer wrench was)

Try turning those burners by hand. Most of the time they will turn.
