Bosch dishwasher water inlet leak (with video!)

I inherited this Bosch dishwasher but I'm not able to figure out how to stop the it from leaking water out of the top of the water inlet on the fill cycle. I took a video of what was happening to show exactly how it happens. What could be causing this?

I'll have to say that's something I've never seen before.  There has to either be an obstruction or the water valve is not metering the water correctly.  Try turning down the water flow at the shutoff valve. If it quits leaking, replace the water inlet valve.

I see this. How does it change with out the diaphragm? I don't believe this particular model has it and I don't see any wiring where it should be connected. Unless somebody ripped it off. Is that the problem?

You need a new water valve,  there is a diaphragm in the water valve which regulates the flow of water.  Over time the diaphragm in the valve stretchs/wears out and cannot regulate the flow.  The valve is letting in too much water, more quickly than the inlet chamber can handle and the water leaks out of the breather hole.
This is a very common problem.  No need to mess with the inlet chamber, just replace the water inlet valve or access valve as Bosch calls it.

It turns out that the access valve (water inlet valve) is exactly what the issue was. Once the valve was replaced the water level was correct and there was no overflowing. Perfect and thank you!
