LG Dryer DLE8377 Unidentified Part?

Can someone help me identify this part? My dryer (LG DLE8377) stopped working, and I've checked all the usual suspects (thermal limiter, themrostat, thermistor) and everything seems to be fine. When I unplug this device, the dryer will start and run, but if I plug it back in, it shuts down.

I don't want to run the dryer with critical pieces missing, but I cannot find any info on this so I can replace it.

Any help is appreciated!

LG Dryer Filter Assembly Part # 6201EC3002A

I notice the part number on the part shown in your photos.

Seems to be some kind of electronic filter. Probably used to keep electrical interference out of the rest of the electronics used in the dryer.

You going to replace the part or run it without?
