Replacing the humidity sensor bar on a
mdg5500awq
- has 4 prongs but only 2 wires to connect - not sure which prongs to use - any help?

Are you talking about Sensor Bar Assembly Part #
33001809
If so you want to connect one wire to each metal bar.

One wire on each strip. When wet clothes rub against the 2 bars. that discharges a capacitor on the dryness board. If the clothes is dry the loaded cap causes the control to advance to end of cycle.
