Older Frigidare Washer Won't Spin

The spin cycle stopped working.
Opened the lid to sopping wet clothes, model FWS235RFS1

If the motor is not running during the spin cycle, I'd suspect the lid switch.  If it is running, could be the belt, transmission or a sock stuck between the basket and tub.

Been trying to get it to spin.
The motor does not run when the washer should spin.
