LG Dryer Service Manual - DLEX2901

I am looking to find a service manual for my LG dryer - Model: DLEX2901. Can anyone tell me where I can get a copy?

What is wrong with the dryer?

After a year of being so quiet that we didn't know we had a dryer it started to make a lot of noise. It is a rattling noise with vibrations.

The dryer is level (checked that about a dozen times), we have added some shock absorber pads, secured the vent to make sure the problem wasn't coming from there, tried moving it within the laundry room to see if a different location would solve the problem......but nothing seems to work. 

Hence we think it may be time to take it apart and see what may be going on inside but would like to get a service manual to help in this process.

Any ideas what may be going on? Or where I may be able to get a manual for this model?

Vibration can be from excess lint around the blower wheel.

Thanx for the idea - haven't tried that yet. I am guessing that involves taking the dryer apart?

Being a model from Canada I don't have access to the service manual.

Yes we finally fixed it!! It is so quiet that we thought it wasn't running the first time we turned it on. The whole problem was a piece of paper and lint in the blower wheel. Can't believe that this could have caused all of the noise and vibration problems.

To anyone who has a similar problem: Taking apart the dryer wasn't that diffcult. I have no experience with appliance repair and I was able to do it. The recommended video (see posting from JWWebster - May 21st) was of great help - even though it wasn't the same model it was similar enough for us to follow and do what we needed to. For the actual repair, I would recommend that you have another person help you (mainly with the reattachment of the door). The only other advice I have for a novice is to mark where each screw came from - it saved us when reassembling the parts - I highly recommend this.
