LIGHT BULB JVM1790SK01 over-the-range microwave

The lamp inside the oven is out.   I have ordered the bulb...but still haven't figured out if it is replaceable in-situ...that is without dropping the unit off the brackets, which would be a bummer!     Just how DO you get to that light bulb??

Remove the glass cover and unscrew the bulb.

You should be able to access it by removing the grill.  Then remove the bulb holder. Don't touch the bulb with bare fingers.  If you do touch it, clean it with rubbing alcohol before turning it on.

FOUND IT!   Yes, removed the grill, and right in the middle area, near the front, is a metal "box like" bulb holder.  One screw allows that to come up.

  This model has convection heat....there is no glass lens or any removable panels on the inside.    The bulb is above an area which has a "grill" of holes in the stainless.
