Y303836 Dryer Blower Wheel

South Dakota Appliance Rebates
Posted by: | CommentsSouth Dakota residents have already claimed more than half of South Dakota’s energy-efficient appliance rebate money.
The stimulus-funded program encourages residents to replace old appliances with more efficient models.
As of this past week, rebate applications totaled more than $392,000 for around 3,500 appliances. Clothes washers, refrigerators and dishwashers have been the most popular replaced appliances.
Nearly $350,000 remains available.
The program ends when the funds run out.
How to test range top burner elements

1. Set the ohmmeter to the R x 1 scale. 2. With the element removed, touch the meter leads to ends of the prongs.
The meter should indicate the following (approximate ±20%) resistance for the indicated element:
8 ” Element = 18 – 20 Ω
6 ” Element = 30 – 33 Ω

How to test an oven temperature sensor

1. Set the ohmmeter to the R x 10 scale.
2. Touch the meter leads to the plug pins (see the illustration).
The meter should indicate approximately 1100 Ω at 75 ˚F. For resistances at other temperatures, refer to the chart below.
NOTE: The readings are approximate.
